App Download Instructions

On iPhone (must be in Safari):

1. Open app.creationcarechurch.com in Safari specifically (not Chrome, not a link opened inside Instagram/Messages/Facebook’s built-in browser — those don’t support this)
2. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow, bottom of the screen)
3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”
4. Select “Install”
5. Confirm — the church logo icon should appear on your home screen

On Android (must be in Chrome):

1. Open the app.creationcarechurch.com in Chrome
2. Tap the ⋮ (three-dot menu) top right
3. Look for “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”
4. Confirm

Chrome or Edge (Windows, Mac, or Linux):

1. Go to app.creationcarechurch.com
2. Look in the address bar, on the right side — there should be a small icon (usually a monitor with a down-arrow, or a “+” in a box)
3. Click it, then click Install
4. The app opens in its own window (no browser tabs/address bar) and gets added to your Start Menu (Windows) or Applications/Dock (Mac)

If you don’t see that icon: click the ⋮ (three-dot menu) top right → look for “Install Creation Care Church…” or “Apps” → “Install this site as an app”

Safari on Mac (macOS Sonoma or newer):

1. Go to app.creationcarechurch.com
2. Click File in the menu bar → Add to Dock
3. Confirm — it appears as an app icon in your Dock, opening in its own window

(Older macOS versions don’t support this — Safari before Sonoma doesn’t have an install option, so Chrome/Edge is the more reliable route on Mac if some of your users have an older OS.)

Firefox:

Firefox doesn’t support installing PWAs directly on desktop. Users on Firefox would need to use Chrome, Edge, or Safari instead, or just use it as a regular bookmarked tab.
